Anyone got extension for making first entry after Confirmation of PR?

Hi Guys,

I recently got PR. My First entry date is in August 2016. I don't know whether I will be moving by that time or not.
Do you have any idea if CIC gives extension to make a first entry?

You can send in a request asking for extension citing extenuating circumstances, if any. Granting such a request is entirely at CIC's discretion and depends on the nature of extenuating circumstances. Do remember that they can certainly refuse such a request at any point in time. If you miss the August deadline and such a request is not granted by CIC, you'll lose the PR opportunity and will have to go through the process from scratch.
