Anyone get refusal after requesting schedule A

I'm having the same concern!!
sposue of a principal applicant

our timeline goes like this:
App submitted August 07
AOR received the same day
Shortly after medical passed & eligibility & background check in progres
Celpip Request August 14
Schedule A request (spouse) Sep 04
Schedule A submitted Sep 08

Yes, I have a concern.. Why is eligibility still in process? Shouldn't they be able to confirm it shortly after receive an application?
And asking me for schedule A instead of principal applicant. So confused.
Our application is complicated (ex spouse of main applicant, two children from previous marriage that are not included in application - but supporting letter of their mom is attached with LOE.. etc) And they've asked only for mine schedule A not his.

I have discovered ECAS last week. It said everything mentioned above except Application started being processing August 13.

My Eligibility in Progress on MyCIC continued to the day my CoPR was issued, so no worries there. They also asked for Schedule A for my partner only - they specified the Statutory Questions about organizations joined/applications for visas to other countries. He had given all that information before, so there was nothing missing. We have no idea why they asked for it, but thought perhaps because he is from a formerly communist country, or because his country has sent a lot of asylum applicants to Canada in the past. It doesn't matter - we filled it out, signed it, and soon afterwards got our PPR, and that is generally the way things go!
