Sure, I can do that but I was thinking to let the arrival date approach and then I will ask my supervisor to give more time to the embassy to decide, i.e. to deffer me for at least a couple of months. I am more worried about maintaining the scholarship that I have been offered.

Lets hope and pray for the best.

Well, then I guess we are both in the same boat. My real concern, too, is keeping the scholarship.
I wrote the university and they told me that they will let me know how many lessons I can afford to miss, and that if there isn't any word till my classes begin then admission would be deferred but I suspect that I will be losing my scholarship in that case.

Thanks friend. What if the due date passes, are we automatically deferred for the next session or rejected? I am a PhD student and I may start at any time, though the preferred date is 3rd of September. 19916 what happened to your application?

That's my pleasure, It depends on the university that how they will defer your admission. Like, some universities ask to apply again just and they give the admission on the basis of your previous docs and some directly defer the admission without asking any applying but just let them know my email. Han Yaar, I am almost on the same boat but I applied with premedical (up-front Medical). Let's see, Insha Allah next week will be good for us. May Allah Almighty hold Qadri and khan sahab for some days more till getting our positive responses . .Ha HA HA. ;D
