applied on 3rd July after that biometric on 7th july. then no response.

2nd attempt, 1st time applied in november 2013 refused due to visa officer did not not satisfied with financial situation.

Yes for september and can join victoria till 30th september but classes will be started on 3rd september. But I have applied online and previous timline shows even u applied earlier get response in last month.

What to say arsal
I applied on 6th June and still facing complete silence.
I strongly feel that actual processing inclosing medical req. etc does not need more than 4 weeks. Beyond that the whole delay is just because of factors that are besides the applicant and are about things which are out of our control. e.g. being Pakistani, situation in Pakistan, visa quota for Pak, staff availability (BTW they intentionally maintain a very small number of ppl in immigration section due to previous incidents of information and operational controls).
Within CIC they have two streams i.e. Immigration and settlements. One of my Canadian boss who previously was in immigration and then was our direction for a settlement project used to mention these things though very briefly.
Feel totally lost when I think about these things

Unfortunately I have almost given up all hope. Hona hota tau abhi tak ho gya hota.
Next week wouldn't br any different with Qadri and Khan taking Islamabad hostage.

Thanks friend. What if the due date passes, are we automatically deferred for the next session or rejected? I am a PhD student and I may start at any time, though the preferred date is 3rd of September. 19916 what happened to your application?

I dont know really. May be that is true. Anyway, the long wait really hurts.
