changed to DM on May 1, 2022 - got the update on May 2
Oath scheduled on May 3, 2022 - got the update on May 4
oath ceremony - May 20, 2022
(never got the oath invitation from them - raised webform and contact them by email - was able to get the oath invitation 2 days before the ceremony)
File Closed on May 25, 2022 - got the update on May 26 (2 business days from the oath)
waiting for the certificate - did request urgent processing/express mail for the certificate - dont know if approved or not.

July 2019 application.

Test completed April 16th 2021.

STILL waiting for the oath.

Fingerprints re-submitted January 2022. As they had expired.

Fingerprints requested AGAIN March 31st 2022.

MP got involved on my behalf and has spoken with an agent and provided the fingerprints submitted in January and confirmed they are now on my application but the tracker hasn't updated since April 1st but nothing was changed then except the date.

Background still shows In Progress.

Oath Ceremony shows Not Started.

Everything else is complete.

IRCC Montreal is beyond a joke. I just need to sit the oath and they can close the damn case.

I can't believe MTL office stopped working on my application, Applied on march 2021 , and after the test on Sep 7th, not a single update.

Even applied for urgent processing and received AOR two weeks ago that my request has been forwarded to responsible office.
But also no decision has been made. ( Called IRCC today)

Depends case to case, but should be anywhere from 1 to 3 months..

Montreal office is a joke! I can understand delays when they are processing the application it depends on cases. But when the decision is made all they need is scheduling the oath!!

I understand your frustration. we all have been through this. Unfortunately no one has any answer and no one knows how IRCC works.. you can try to send an email to the test invitation asking to schedule your oath mentioning that you are waiting for many months. See if that helps.

I'm from Montreal. My test was completed on Apr 19th, I'm still waiting...
I check the timeline of peoples from Montreal, it seems it takes 3-4 months between Test completed and DM.
