Anyone from Montreal got online test invite and/or oath ceremony

wonder how long do people get DM after test from montreal office? Test done in early Dec but no updates since then.. Online application submitted on May 1st 2021, AOR on Aug 31st...

Test completed in june 2021, got DM 5th of Jan 2022, waiting for Oath ceremony. I think things are moving a bit faster than summer / fall 2021.

AOR was sent in December 2020.

My family and I became Canadian citizens this morning. The whole thing lasted for about 2 hours, mostly because so many people could not figure out how to mute/unmute themselves. It was pretty chaotic at times.

I'd like to thank so many of you who helped out over the past few years and also to wish those who are still waiting the best of luck. I sincerely hope things move fast now for everyone. Stay strong, it's worth the wait in the end.

1. I am working in US and my wife is on visitor visa with me. She just got her citizenship oath invite. Can she take the oath and return to US until everything is done such as getting her certificate, applying for passport etc..?

2. Can she talk to the agent during the ceremony to speedup the certificate process and what reasons can she tell them? I have no one in Canada where she can stay for about 6-8 weeks to complete this process. Any inputs would be much appreciates.

Unlikely to consider her case urgent. It takes normally 2 weeks to get the certificate. Otherwise, ask someone else to receive her certificate, and mail it to the US to her, where she can apply for the passport.

When do we receive the instructions to attend the ceremony from the date changes in the tracker?

My wife's case: 21st March 2022 is the day status changed to waiting on you for Oath ceremony on 6th April 2022.

But she did not receive any relevant email yet

usual time frame to get the email would be a week ahead of the schedule. estimated to get an email inbetween March 28th to 1st April. not later than that in most cases.

I'm also January '21 applicant in Montreal office. I did my test in November and haven't heard back since. But looking at the spreadsheet it seems quite normal and nothing to worry about.
