Hey Lenny, the CSQ is a very boring looking document. There is no stamp or seal on it that I can see. The only thing that makes it look 'official' i suppose is the signature at the end in blue-inked pen. Added to these facts, my CSQ is all wrinkled and it got a bit wet in the mail. It comes in a packet which explains what it is (that it is not a pr visa, how long it's valid for etc) There were also 2 brochures in French about the values of Quebec.

On a whole, nothing spectacular.

My application is now in process according to ECAS, yesterday I received a requirement for an extra PCC for my wife who lived in Estado de Mexico, so it seems it moving on!

Cheers!

@Caribgrl oh boy I am just hoping and praying too that I wil hear something soon and thanks for your good wishes too.

Guys,

Is it ok if I send via DHL another work certificate that looks much better than a certificate included in my initial application package?

The one I got today is more specific and accurate about the positions, responsibilities and tasks that I had in my previous job.

What do I say? "Please find attached a certificate and enclose it to my original application"...?

I have not even been assigned any "application number". I think I will just mention my complete name and give them the DHL waybill number of the original package for them to be able to find it. I am pretty sure my application has not even been opened since it arrived 5 days ago.

Cheers,
Lenny

@ Lenny, If you want to add something to your file you should probably wait until you get your AOR and a number is assigned to it. They don't immediately start processing your file. Once it's not something that was missing from your original application.

Well. In addition to the new work certificate I just realized I forgot to enclose the first payslip of my current job (I only enclosed the last one from last month). So it is something required but missing in my application.

But it makes sense to me that I should have some reference number given by them so that it is easy for their staff to locate my application.

Cheers

Hey!! Hi everybody.
I want to be part of this track
I haven't sent my application cause don't have ALL the documents and as far as I read they send u back all if u miss one
I'll keep u inform.
Question: did u get all ur docs notarized??

Welcome Laubasa!!

Hi Laubasa!

Yes, you need to send notarized copies of your documents unless it is mentioned that you need to send the originals (example Police Certificates).

Good luck!

Guys,

Today I received by email my first AOR ever. I applied on July 18 and today is August 9 so this first AOR took 17 business days to arrive. It looks earlier than expected. I thought I was going to receive a letter (paper) my regular mail in ~2 months as per comments from other applicants. I am glad anyway.

What do you guys think?

Best of luck

Congrats Lenny23!!!!

I'll join the group, sent all my papers on August 2 arrived on the 3rd.

Hopefully I will hear back from them soon just as Lenny did. Congrats by the way buddy.
