At least knowing that I am not the one and only makes it easier.

By the way, I have been asking myself if it is that Mexico VO has few applications to process, or it is that people from the countries that should send them to Mexico VO are not keen to this forum. There are only 4 people in the international tracker made by the post june 2010 applicants. Have you checked it? It is quite interesting. Maybe some of the members of this forum would be interested in add their data in it.
Anyway, I appreciate your welcome and hope we will have news soon.
Maybe we should try to keep this forum in the first page, by posting frequently. That way more applicants from Mexico VO will find it easier.
Have fun!!
Deby

Welcome Deby. I think it's even harder to find Quebec Skilled Workers! We seem few and far between. I'm hoping that a new month will bring more movement with Mexico :D

Can everyone put their timelines as their signatures?

Thank you for the welcome.
Done (the timelines)
:)

Let´s hope this moves fast, I think I´m the oldest applicant of this topic at least I´m Pre-June 2010 rules, waiting for medicals I'll keep you posted for any change.

Good Luck Guys

Wow Quebec just updated their website on May 2, and under processing times for Quebec skilled workers in Mexico it said March-June 2010. If you have submitted an application for immigration before this date and your file is complete, you should have been called for a selection interview.

And there was I thinking they were past June already :o

And so the wait continues...

I have received the PER on April 13, which says that they sent my file to Mexico VO , but there has not been any change in ECAS. Is it normal? Have someone gotten the line which says received by visa office?
I just want to know that everything is flowing!!
Thanks

Hi deby,

As far as I know e-case is not very reliable it doesn't change at the same time the steps are taken by the VO, for example : my application is in process (the VO told me by mail) and the e-case shows received by VO, and this is since February , so my suggestion is don´t trust everything e-case tells you, just be informed by the timelines and if the time is exceeded send an inquiry directly.

Sorry I can´t help you with the timelines but I'm pre-june applicant but maybe someone else could.

P.D. I saw a user called hub2 ho is also from mexico and is in the same category as you and he is post-june applicant.

Hope this helps :)

Hi TimBit
It is nice to see the group is growing.
GOOD LUCK!!

Hi, everyone:
My ecas status changed to:
"Received by Visa Office" :D

Does someone else have any change?

Unfortunately no news by my part :(

Keep you posted of any change

Today is a good day!!
My ECAS changed and I received an e-mail from the Embassy of Canada in Mexico notifying that they recieved my documents and created a file.
They also state that the processing time is in average 6 to 12 months at this office and that if it is necessary they will inform to me of the date of the interview with one month in advance. They recommend to gather information about Canada and the way to obtain a license for regulated occupations.
Also they ask to notify any change in my address, marital status or members in my family.

Good luck to every one!!
Deby
