please help me with the process of university selection as i have learnt that most of universities donot accept applications easily?
so acc to my average profile, which universities should i apply for?

Persons who are in process of application or who are already got admission in university, please give your views?it would be really helpful!
my profile is-
10th- 74
12th-64
b.tech-72

you have a decent score, give ielts
and check with university requirements, as diff univs hav diff criterias

My profile was somewat same as urs plus work experience.. I got admit from UBC masters degree..

i fit in the eligibility criterion of every uni bt ,there is no sense for a person with profile like mine to apply for MCGILL or so,as they will not accept my application.
so if you can tell me the universities in which there are more chances of mine getting selected,it would be really helpful!

Queen`s uni / Western Uni / Concordia Uni / Uni of Manitoba / Carleton Uni / Uni of windsor / Uni of Newbrunswick / Uni of regina!
PLEASE GIVE YOUR SUGGESTIONS?

You can go fr concordia uni.. U ll easily get there.. Also apply in UBC aswel.

Hi, I just want you to get know, You should check the applications deadlines in universities because Canadian university accept application six month prior to starting of the program.

Yes u gotto apply soon n check the deadlines as i think for ubc deadline is 15 dec..
My profile
10th -82%
12th - 74%
Degree- 72%
Got 2 yrs of exp in IT
IELTS 7 bands

Hey gaurav good to know, you want to study further.

As far universities acceptance is concerned with your profile.
You can easily get into M.engg inany university like windsor/ regina/Concordia /unb/dalhousie/ ryerson/ manitoba.
With good research based SOP, you can even get into M.ASC in these universities.

If you talk about top uni like ubc/u o toronto/ Calgary / carleton/Ottawa, it is difficult. Because these universities give priority to work experience which you do not have. And for fresher they seek above 80 in. Bachelors

So I would say, apply in 3 to 4 universities, one sure like unb and windsor.
One decent like Concordia and dalhousie
2 in top univ

Keep your sop strong. Try to get reference from high designation people of your field.
Apply as early as possible.

Universities give preference to early applicants.

Best of luck
