First of all ma brother,
To sponsor you must be a permanent resident of Canada.
In other provinces except Quebec you must show proof of financial capability.
The is no minimum length of time but you must show proof you have a verifiable address in Canada through utility bills.
Remember, if you have a child before you travel or during the immigration process and you wish to add them you must inform MICC ( if still waiting for CSQ) or Federal Government if waiting for a visa.
If you do not have a wife and child(ren), I strongly advice you to finish with your own process and later travel to Canada, return later to Cameroon and marry and further return to Canada and sponsor from within Canada.
Note: Permanent residents can only sponsor from within Canada if they live and work in Canada. On the otherhand if you already have a documented family you will need to add them now.
Hope that infos is worth it.
For further infos: go to citizen and immigration Canada website and read on sponsorship.
Manoh how have you been? Hope you are enjoying your family re-union.
Tell me something about family sponsorship........is there a minimum amoun of time one stays in Canada before applying for sponsorship? Or maybe get a job before sponsoring? .....or is it possible to land and then start the sponsorship for spouse and kids.
waiting for your answer bro.......Quebec requested for some tax documents so i'm struggling to update them now and hoping for the selection certificate.
Kind regards to all
