thats cool ! I will be applying for visa during the same time. I am going to do my studies in Environmental sciences.
what about the medical tests - doin at apollo heart centre at Greams Road ? and what documents are going to show for your finance - GIC or bank loan ?

@pking it depends under which category you are applying Spp/university/general.
also the funding requirements are mentioned in vfs website - check the university/spp/general checklists for students in this page

for university students, they have to show the following fund requirement
1.payment of 1 year tuition fee + bank loan for 10,000 $
2.payment of 1 year tuition fee + GIC for 10,000$ purchased from canadian bank

My friend got visa in 8 days..... it depends on Visa officer.....

ya average is 15 days. but soemtimes people get it in 5 days or 25 days :
