What's 2ndline?
An android app, not available on Play Store, you can download the APK online and install it.
It will give you a US or Canadian phone number which you may use to phone CIC. I am not sure if this would put you into any trouble though, I have once used it to communicate with ICICI Canada while setting up my GIC.

Hey,

Do they really reply on the queries that we have, for example : why would someone from within Canada ask about his/her application on student visa.

Thankyou.

If I may ask.. Do you have any idea about the possible reasons of this delay..

Hi, sorry for the delays. It would be alright to proceed and call them, they're just a help center in the end of the day and an agent may have access to more valuable updates on your application. Give it a try if your application has exceeded the normal processing times estimates indicated in the CIC websites.

I have read your other responses to determine your timeline. It seems your case may take some time on the background check since you've been to other countries in the past, and also because you have a withdrawn EE application.

It may take them time to reach a decision, but hopefully it comes out positive. I hope you've written a strong SOP addressing any doubts they may have. A few applicants reported receiving updates this week so be hopeful, if you're applying for January intake there is plenty time ahead.
