Anyone ever stayed in the states with the person they're sponsoring?

I'm just wondering if any Canadian citizens went and stayed with the person they're sponsoring in there country until the application was approved and they could move to Canada. They don't plan on staying with me the whole waiting process, just the last half of it or so. Is that allowed?

As long as the sponsor is a Canadian citizen, they are allowed to sponsor someone while living outside of Canada - but they'd need to include proof with the application of their intent to return to Canada. If they're just "visiting" the person they're sponsoring, it shouldn't be an issue.

They are just visiting, I'm just not sure what proof they could submit.They live with their parents and are quitting their job to come down, as we are relocating when I move up there.
