anyone else waiting ages for extended visitor visa?????

I sent off to extend my visitor visa end august and stil havnt had a response??

anyone else waiting and waiting??? :

yes me, i sended my app also at the end of aug. .... i looked today on the CIC-home for processing time .... ` Working on applications received on 24, September 2013`. that waiting is horrible ....

So we should get an answer soon i hope ..... i dont know how long it takes, after they made a decision to send out the letter.

I renewed my wife's WP this February online and I've received the positive answer within 1,5 month (uploaded and sent on Feb 10 and get answer on March 10).

Have you applied online or in mail?

weird...i read a few minutes ago a answer from a championmember here and now it vanished ..... the answer said, that CIC made a typological error and its not 24. September, but August, Totalprocessing Time 4 month and 9 days ???

is that correct ?

No thats not correct. I sent my off 29th august and it came through yesterday!! (extended visitor visa) It says it takes 3 months for them to process the extensions at the moment. I called them and its 3 months at the moment

Is medical exam is mandatory? Did they ask medical from you to extend visa or they gave you the extension without asking for medical?

No i didnt need a medical?
www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/extend-stay.asp this will tell you everything you need to know. I am not sure if what country you have been living in makes any difference?
