"You were recently accepted into the Express Entry pool of candidates and invited to apply for Permanent Residence.

Unfortunately, you were issued an invitation to apply in error under the Federal Skilled Worker Program. Based on the information you provided to CIC, you do not meet the minimum entry criteria for the Program. Specifically, your Express Entry profile shows that you do not have a Canadian education credential or Educational Credential Assessment. This message serves as notice that the invitation to apply for the Federal Skilled Worker program, issued in error, has been cancelled.

However, based on the information you provided in your Express Entry profile, you are eligible under the Canadian Experience Class. If invited in a future round, CIC will process your application for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class. You would not have to re-submit your information."

I applied through the CEC scheme in the first place!

This is extremely worrying and stressful.

Has anyone else received this? It doesn't help that we can't seem to log in at the moment...

Sounds like CIC messed up the immigration program they put you in and now they're making you pay for their mistake. True story.

So you got ITA by mistake? I can only imagine your level of frustration. Oh, with this EE system you never know what's coming, completely unpredictable and stress inducing. >:(

I just received this message as well! And my application for Express Entry that was already complete, has disappeared. WTF

You received the message after the third draw?? Have you received a new ITA from the third draw which I guess you should??

Yes I received it after the 3rd draw.

I was given an ITA in the 1st draw, then in the 3rd draw (I think this is the same for a few of us) I received an email later saying I'd been given an ITA.

No idea if this has set us all back a week!

I guess the good thing about this whole process is at least they seem to be doing very regular draws...

Just want to point out one thing that people have misunderstood about this system:
You do not choose which scheme you apply to. The system determines it based on the information you entered. Good Luck.
