Hi. I am eligible to be an employer under HCCP requirements. I have a relative who is qualified and I want to hire her. But, because its my relative who is going to be a caregiver to my child, IRCC might refuse my application.

Both me and my relative are in Canada. So, if you are eligible to be an employer I can sponsor your relative and you can sponsor mine.
Eligible and interested please reach out.

I got this info from the Canada website ( https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/economic-classes/pathways-for-caregivers/child-care-provider-support-pilots/assessing-application-selection-criteria.html#relative )

Job offer from a relative
All circumstances of the application must be reviewed to support an assessment of the eligibility and genuineness of the job offer and employer/employee relationship.

The same level of scrutiny applies if the employer is a relative, as it does for any other job offer. A reminder that an applicant being related to their employer does not make them ineligible under the pilots.

So I don't think it's a ground for refusal if you sponsor your relatives as your caregiver. My sister-in-law sponsored a relative for caregiver and the caregiver is now a PR.

There was a lot of abuse of the system so it is now harder to hire a relative. There is extra scrutiny even if it doesn’t say so on paper. If your relative has been a longtime nanny, nurse, etc. and they have a long work history where is makes sense that they would be hired as a caregiver that isn’t a problem but most don’t have any experience in the field who are applying.

How is your relative going to remain in Canada while they try to apply for HCCP in January if they find an employer. Processing can take years. Has your child had a full-time caregiver all this time? You say they are under 18 but how old are they? If they haven’t had a full-time caregiver since they were little you will need to justify why they need a full-time caregiver at this point. Even more difficult when the child is in school most of the day to justify needing a full-time caregiver.
