So how best should I proceed with sending a new Option C (with my status as changed to "married") to CPC-M? Or, should I just wait until my sponsorship gets approved and everything is sent to Warsaw? However, is there the possibility that they may not even approve me as the sponsor due to this?
I will first have to fill out and send the Marital Change form (RC 65) with Revenue Canada, and I am not certain as to how long it will take them to make the change in my file and give me a new Option C printout with my status changed to "married."
My application was received by CPC-M on Aug. 12 (tracked through Canada Post). I think that the wait time right now is 42 days over there. So far, I only have my receipt number, and no case or file numbers.
Should I try to get my accountant to also write a letter declaring the discrepancy and that we are actually married, and just send that off for now? He was the minister of oaths at our wedding...
Please help!
