I think it would be very nice to send them an enquiry if u wish otherwise, let them do.

If you do not get any precise info next week then it will be a fingure crossed situation.

You should contact first by telephone and quote your personal data.

if they respond you then it will be fair enough, but if they responce by using auto tape then send them email straight forward
mentioning your situation.

Hey dadakoko,

think I am in a similar situation to you, applied mid July, and uni starts on the 8th but no reply.

I've tried calling the high commission and emailing but no luck,

have you heard anything back?

When exactly did you apply, have you had any correspondence what so ever from the CHC?

Hey applied on the 20th of July I think,
and I had an email on the 5th of August saying they'd received my application,
and asked for some other documents,

Ok, that's nice very very nice.

I did not receive any follow up to my application, I think I sent all documents needed.

I did track my application sent through royal mail and it was confirmed delivered and signed for on 11th July 2011. I sent an email to CHC last week and got no response yet.

School resumed yesterday!!

Yeh my uni starts tomorrow, so bit screwed as well,

but I believe its been eight weeks since your application was received,
so you should hear back soon, ,

I applied a week after you so, mine would be even longer,

its quite frustrating...

Hey dude,
sorry I can't send personal messages,

but yeh I got an email on the 9th saying that it was ready for collection and then I got it on Monday,

you might want to email them again or call,
I am not really sure tbh,
as they're not very good at replying to queries,

I guess you can try going down there, if you're close to London...
