Hi,

If anyone working in a large India IT firm (like Infosys, TCS, Wipro) is watching this forum and applying or applied for Canadian Immigration, pls send me a private message.

I need some urgent information on the best possible way to get experience supporting letters from these companies.

My company has a policy of not supporting any personally driven immigration. Hence, it's getting next to impossible to get these documents

hope u understand. We can discuss at length over a private messagre.

regds,
aanbaan

no takers for this one???

Not from India, but from IT, not from a Big farm, but from a small one, I am gonna apply in the next 3-4 months. Has been working as a Manager of a small company's IT for over 3 yrs now.

aanbaan,

Me too from one of the companies that u specified.
Did you get any breakthrough regarding how to get exp supporting letter form there companies?
Please reply!

how about asking your direct manager

sim44,

we are from the same company, actually... I am 1 level above you in bands, but my designatin is from Consulting stream. (Not called Manager, though I am a Manager)

i have tried very hard but, not 1 document on company letterhead... only the proof of emplyment from ALG... (B&W print out)... :( I requested Finance and they put a company seal on the paper.

I am submitting final doc-set next week and have made a supporting case of almost 30-40 pages. I'll share the details with you if my application is successful.

My case is a little weak here, but since I've already started, i'd like to give it a shot.

Rupeshhari... getting a reference from direct manager is a tough nut in very large IT firms in India. They will simply let us go from the company :)

well, they do say that you don't have to get a letter from your current company but i guess that means you should find a way to prove your employment and duties, etc. I am sure you can think of ways to do that.

Oh, i see you have 40 pages....you already have thought of it :) Good luck.

Thanks.. i need it... :)

what happened to your file? did buffalo reply yet?

you once mentioned that your case is weak at 1 point. Can I ask wht that would be?

all the best to you , bud..

Thanks. Good luck to you too

aanbaan,

Sent you a message. I have sent full application and from a CMM Level 4 organization

What I have done is:

Collected reference letters from my previous organization's HR departments of course on company letter head, company seal and signed by HR. My present company is my third employer/organization. I am not in a position to even talk to my senior(VP) about it so I submitted the following documents.
1) Offer letter from my organization. It has details of my job responsibilities/duties, my yearly compensation and my designation as "Manager, Systems" with all other standard details. The duties mentioned there matches to the duties mentioned for NOC 0213 (by God’s grace).
2) Last three month's pay slip with company seal. Pay slips are sent to us electronically. Took print outs, went to the HR department and told them that it needs to be sealed as I am planning to apply for personal loan. It took me three days and finally I got it done.
3) All my appraisal letters from my present organization. Three appraisal letters.
4) A letter to the Visa Officer mentioning that asking for reference letter from my present employer may have negative impact on my employment as it's not confirmed yet that my application for Canadian Permanent Residence ship will be approved. I lead a team of twenty one people and requesting for reference letter might make my employer think that I may plan to quit the organization in near future. I provided this letter on a white sheet and signed it.
5) I have also sent my last pay slips from my previous companies.
It's written in my letter for full application from CHC to submit original offer/reference letters and not certified photocopies so I have submitted everything original. Hope I get everything back safely. It's also written in the CHC website and also in the CHC letter asking for full application that one has to write letter to the Visa Officer, CHC, mentioning detailed reason in case he/she cannot provide reference letter from current employer.
I have done whatever my wife and I felt right. I didn't consult any lawyer for my application/paper work. Our "Mission Canadian PR" team consists of two members, my wife and I. She is also from a well-known IT MNC and both of us submitted documents in the above mentioned way. I am the main applicant.
