Anyone applying for study permit in LA,USA as an international student

iam applying for study permit in CIC ,LA,USA.has anyone applied here before as it shows in their website that it takes 9 weeks to process,but i have got admission for Jan2014 in quebec..still waiting for CAQ to be issued.so will i be able to make it on time...plz share ur views

I applied at LA CIC on 25th October...I am applying for Jan 2014 too....I'll share as soon as I hear something....
