If anyone is haveing same kind os situation please share with me.

not sure as employment pass or any kinds of visa will entitle someone to apply immigration from that country. from gulf countries lot of people are still online to immigration and i know few of them who applied from the first country. good luck...

Hi Dear
You can apply from singapore. No matter you r in home country or Host country.
But if u wanna to apply for FSW from Singapore then u must have one year legal stay in the host country.

Regards
Cheers

Hi
You may apply from your home country OR a country to which you have been lawfully admitted for at least one year. I guess it is clear.

Good luck

Thanks for Your replies guys,

I have read the instructions at cic website, does term "lawfully admitted for one year" mean allowed to stay for one year, OR has already stayed there for atleast one year.

My EP is valid from august 2008 to august 2009 which is also renewable. so i have already lived here 5 months on employment pass, Can I apply from CHC Singapore with my current status?

lawfully admited, not lawfully stayed. Since you were admitted, you can apply.
