Anyone Applied to the SP from Germany?

Hey there,

I had done that. It's been exactly ten days since I've sent the online application. There's a bit of a catch here: Canada doesn't have a visa service in Berlin, it's in Vienna. According to the processing times schedule the applications from Germany should take a week but applications from Austria take around five weeks. Even funnier fact, I'm not a citizen of neither Germany nor Austria.

So, has anyone been through this particular path?

The situation is a bit complicated. But I do have residence, money, etc. in Germany.

Do not get me wrong, I am not being hesitant. It really is a messy one. Also, it does not have much to do with the regular waiting times, which I cannot see what for my case.

Could you tell me if your application was approved? How long did it take for you to get a response?
