Hi,, there. I sent it on July 26, 2011. Buffalo received on July 28 2011. Haven't received my Passport yet. But I think it is coming soon. Coz I called the post office and my money order has been cashed. I'll update my timeline once I receive it.

congratulations, you already got your papers and just waiting for your family. I just wanna share too my timeline but sadly say that the first stage approval of my papers haven't arrive..when you think it will come..hehe

i sent it: june 16, 2010
received: june 19, 2010
processed: august 31, 2010

until now no any approval yet but according to Ecas, it is IN PROCESS>>

i would like to know how to apply for visa in buffalo...im under LCP and wanted to renew or get a new visa. i dont have a uS visa yet so i cant go personally there. what should i do (1st time here)? and what are the requirements? also how many days/wk/months it will
take for it to be processed? many thanks.

in the application kit, am i going to use the form IMM 5257 or the TRV application made outsude of canada?
is there any other form since i am swnding my app from canada thru buffalo? or IMM 5257 is applicable whether u apply from canada or outside of canada? thanks!

Yes, this is the only form we could use. (made outsude of canada) There is no application kit for application within Canada.

sent to Buffalo July 26, 2011
receive by Buffalo July 28, 2011
Money order cashed Aug. 17, 2011

Sent from Buffalo Sept. 7, 2011
receive VISA Sept. 8, 2011

took 45 days.

I applied the multiple visa. valid untill July 2012 as my WP.

The font in the application form for TRV after printing is so little, is it always like that or is my printer ? Do you state how much you have in Canadian dollars ?

Mine is also so little. Check last page, ur barcode. I think they only scan them.

I sent the statement about 3000CAD this time. They returned it to me.
also my T4, Photocopies of WP & Passport pages.
Last year I didn't send any statement at all.

Actually, they only took my employment letter and 2 photos. of course 150 CAD money order :)

Are you going for a vacation back your country?
I just wondered do we need an employment letter to enter Canada when we are holding the OWP?

I dont Know Joy , as i've never done this,i'm just applying for TRV for the first time and that was why i seek your help. It will be lovely if we could just go without letter from employer cos i wanna file for unemployment but I cant if i need an employment letter to go home .
