Anyone applied/planing to apply for FSW as a Cook 6242 ?

I am new on this forum, I am planing to apply for FSW category as a Cook. I was wondering if someone has applied or planing to apply as a cook because I need to ask some questions in this regard.

thanks for the reply, actually I have almost 3 years of experience as a cook and 14 years of full time formal education. I want ask that will I qualify as a cook because I dont have any qualification as a cook?

Actually i am new to this immigration process like you. I am doing through a consultancy in India. I have done BSc. in Hotel management and worked for 3 years as chef. In my opinion it is not necessary that u should have any qualification in the field of Food production. Even a general bachelor degree will work to get points for immigration to Canada. As you do not have any degree or diploma you might have to achieve maximum points in other fields such as IELTS, age, adaptability etc. You can also get upto 5points if you are married and your wife did some bachelor degree course and some work experience.
Request Qorax for more refined and accurate info as helped almost everyone in this forum. I feel that you will qualify for the immigration. Also i dont see many applicants in the cook category....surprisingly.

Just show ur education of 14 years, it need not be in the same field. your experience of 3 years is what really matters.If u need any help let me know.
