Anyone applied in March 2011? :(

I did my medical in August and results were sent early September. Since then, I've heard nothing. I even got my GCMS notes recently. I've passed eligibility, medical, criminality and everything. The only thing left in my file is the issuance of visa but I don't know why it takes so long :( My case is CPP-Ottawa but according to my GCMS notes, I think my file was transferred back to Buffalo in mid October..

I had sent my application in Sep 2010, and according to cic.gc.ca the process begun on March 2011
Medical was done in June 2011, updated my status from single to married and filed my wife's application as well, she got medical request in June, and sent it by August 2011. I was asked for Notice of Assessment for 2010, so sent that also within a week.
After that no progress, every time I inquire, they say no requirements from you, plz wait, and thanks for minimum correspondence.
Now, my medical is expiring on this 10th of June 2012, and i am going to do it again from a cic listed doctor. Buffalo office is closed now-where i applied. Dont know what will happen next.
Any suggestion for me to do, that may help me. My wife is waiting back home country for PR to get approved. Work permit is also expiring on JUNE 23rd.. hah I feel like i got stuck in a big Hurricane
I am preparing for LMO right now to extend my visit in Canada, although i have 10 yr multiple US visitor Visa
