Their 5 weeks waiting time has already crossed. No response yet.
Will drop them mail again and inform u when I get any info.

Hi Guys ,

Even I have applied to the MEng prog @ Dal.
I completed my app on Mar 21 and even my current status shows as

Admission Type: Previous Academic Work
Decision: Written Notification to Follow

Had sent a mail and got a response from that stating that the file has been reviewed and has got a positive response however waitlisted and would let me know if i manage to get an admit.

So waiting with fingers crossed....

And how long did that email take to get a response?

I thought all their emails take 7-10 BS days just to get a response if you need to ask them a question.

Hey Allie ,

i think they responded to me in 3BS days ... I was communicating with someone from my dept as I had some issues the during the process of application as well... IMO its always a great idea to call than sending mails... there is a very high probability of the mails getting lost in the stacks of emails they recieve everyday...


BTW wat prog did u apply for ?

I've been researching what that status means, and from the past intakes (2013, 2012, 2010, etc), it doesn't look so good, but there have been some that got that status and still got accepted via snail mail. I guess we'll just have to wait, but I'm seeing the majority that have this status been waitlisted or rejected.

Yes... looks like most of such folks are waitlisted... so I am mentally prepared for jan 15.
Not sure if i mentioned but i spoke to someone from the dept and he confirmed that the profiles has got a positive review.And for international applicant , we have a little over a month before we lose any hopes as 3 months prior to the intake , they restrict the WL to domestic students only.... So a crucial 45 days or so ahead of us ..

I heard Nova scotia does not have PNP for International students.

Still no response from them. I wrote them an email asking for ETA, all they said was it takes 4-5 weeks for final decision to be made. Though for me it has been more than 5 weeks now.

Applied for Master of Electronic Commerce on 27th December, 2013 and documents were received (reflected on their tracking system) on 10th Feb, 2014. What about you? Did you apply to any other University?
