Can you please tell me if there is any deadline or last date to submit GIC?

hey, reasons for rejection were the basi 4 reasons,
travel history, irrelevant course, family ties and will not leave Canada

Bro, I know 3more people who applied for project management and got rejection,
2 of them applied in Humber only with me, lets see this time if Visa officers issues
visa for this course or not,, well last time for Sept 2013 intake my GIC took 35 days
to reach me after transferring all funds that too after making several phone calls and
email conversation, generally it takes only 10 working days max.

nothing much, just 2 semester fee receipt and GIC nothing extra
logically when we have filled all semester fee and living expense I don't think
there is any need of other financial documents.

Moreover, getting a Student visa seems to be like a lottery system,
people with fake documents and having bad academics backgrounds are getting visas.

That only shows you have enough funds for your tuition. But you also need to prove to the visa officer that you have strong ties with your home country and have a reason to come back. So it is better to produce a CA certificate quoting your properties(house, sites etc ), cars, bikes, gold, cash bond, LIC etc etc etc.... strong financials is equally imp as strong academics. also if you are taking a bank loan, it should be lengthy one instead of just a sheet of paper. it should state the date on which you should start repaying, the consequences of default blah blah which will make it look more realistic. More than GIC, availing a bank loan adds up to the application strength under general category. These are my personal views and the seniors may advise better.

What is your profile?

I have done Civil Engineering and have 2.5 years of IT experience. I have seen some electives at Humber which offer civil related management studies. Being a civil engineer this would help me I guess. The only issue is my work experience. Would it be good if I do not highlight my work exp?

I was asking for the last date to submit GIC. I heard its 22nd of oct, is that true?

They stated that, my proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of your qualifications , previous studies, employment , level of establishment , language abilities or future prospects and plans .

It did M.Com.
worked as Paralegal for three years
Then LLB.
Got 7 bands.

My consultant advised me to get detailed reasons from the Embassy and then Re-apply. Hope for the good second time. Will take more than one month.

But I wish both of you get it in first chance.
Work hard and to your best on SOP, It matters a lot acc. to me. Best of luck

oh yes, everything you are saying is correct and that's what I thought,
but my consultant said that people gets visa without all these stuff and
there are cases in which people got refusal after showing good amount
of finances and strong economic backgrounds as well
but I think I should show bank balance and FDs that my family have
