Just because somebody got their visa in 1,5 months ,does not mean that it will happen to you as well, all visa "cases" are different,so don't rely on how much time it took other people. On the cic website, the visa processing time is 9 weeks. BUT, it may take less or more than that(depends on your file).

the reasons are mentioned in spreadsheet, by the way 1) Purpose of visit 2) Travel History 3)Family ties in canada and country of residence.
