Anyone applied for TRV online ? Please Help !!

Guys,

I am unable to apply online for self, spouse & kid all in one login, looks like i need to have separate Login's and apply separately for all 3 of us is this correct? Or i miss something, i have bridging open work permit approved for all of us and have valid status till July 2015.

Please advise.

One BOWP for the family? There should at least be 3 BOWP..... but I doubt your kid has an BOWP.

So what are the status of each of your applicants?

From CIC:

You can apply in Canada if:
•you are a legally admitted
◦student or
◦foreign worker
in Canada with a Canadian residential address,
•your current temporary resident status is still valid, and your existing visa counterfoil is expired or was valid for only one entry, and
•you need a new temporary resident visa to return to Canada in the near future.


So unless your wife and kid are legally admitted students or workers they can't apply online.

I have BOWP for self and spouse, my kid is on visitor status till next Sep 2015.

My current visa is expiring on 31st October 2014.

THen if I am not mistaken your wife and you can apply inside Canada.

Your kid has to apply from abroad.

I really dont understand this TRV process at all, when i have proper status for all 3 of us why cant we apply online its so confusing. Last year i got my TRV by applying through paper work. I thought online is much faster than sending paper application, so started online and getting into these many questions.

One last question, can i send paper application only for my kid and for me and spouse separate online application? Will this work ?

Your kid must apply online or on paper OUTSIDE Canada.

You and your wife may apply online or on paper INSIDE or OUTSIDE Canada.
