Deferred to fall 2021 (IRCC informed via webform)
Approval November 2020

I am still waiting for the new LOA but IRCC did not request it, they issued the approval and it states I should enter Canada before 2023.

I’ve applied for my visa but I can only give my biometrics in December, due to the lockdown.
I really hope it won’t take as long once I have submitted a complete application.

Hi! Have you submitted your biometrics now? I also recently applied for the study permit to start my PhD in Jan 2021 but I am worried that I won't get it approved soon enough
