1. has someone applied online for a study permit from inside Canada at the New York Consulate? Was the country of residence stated as Canada as a visitor? I have been getting conflicting information that one can only apply on paper, and not online.
2. have people entered US for the purpose of only giving biometrics on a US visitor visa, and what was the experience? There seems to be some threads that mentioned that people were denied entry to US only for biometrics.
3. I was told that by the VAC in New York that they do not process paper applications and give them to the US consulate, until the biometrics is received. Is that correct, since then there seems to less of a point mailing in a paper application.
