Anyone applied for PCC in Indian High Commision , London

Hi,
I am sure this question might have been asked several times but here i am again.
Anyone who has applied PCC in High Commision London might be able to answer some of queries i have

1)I have to apply PCC for myself and my wife. Can i apply PCC on my wife's behalf ?? if yes any additional documents i have to carry along ?

2) I read in the Form that we have to submit the original Passports with copies for verification purposes. Will they retrun the Original passport to me after verifying same day ?? I need my original passport so cannot give them

3)How long it takes to get PCC ??

Yes you can apply on your wifes behalf. She does not need to go there.

They will check your passport oon the spot and will returm you at that very moment. YOu will have to take the passports again when you go to collect your PCC
3)How long it takes to get PCC ??

Thanks,It takes 4- 6 weeks. I called them after one month and they were not ready. I called them after 5 weeks and they were ready. So anything between 4-6 weeks. ( If your passport was issued from London, it would take just 2 weeks

Yes our passports are issued in London office so i can expect to have PCC returned in 2 weeks i guess..
