Well both me and my friend are going to join University of Alberta (MEng Petroleum Engineering) Insha Allah. But apparently his application is being processed faster by chc . Both applied from Karachi.

Ali Durrani, I have put CHC as Islamabad, Pakistan which is the Canadian High Consulate in Pakistan. We are located at different locations. Like saadileo said, he's from Karachi, I am from Multan, You are from Peshawar. So it's regardless of home town.

Ohh i cee .. bt sam buddy upthere in the forum said that Panjab cases r given preference thats y i reacted .. bt all in 1 as u said Consulate is 1 and the same CHC .... Thnx btw ...

Well, if someone said that, than this is totally false assumption. They do not give any preference on provinces basis. The only thing that matter is the genuineness of the application.

hey jigzy grd work and in between one of my friend who have a consultancy he told me abt this fact. It may not be true but on the forum i was also observing this thing that guys from islamabad are getting a quicker responce than other cities. Khair what ever we will came to know abt it in a couple of weeks...

Hmm.. It may be possible, but it is also possible that the number of applicants from Punjab is more than any other province of Pakistan. It is obvious that you will than see lot's of Punjab applicants name getting calls or responses.

For Example:

3 from KPK
2 from Baluchistan
4 from Sindh
9 from Punjab,

If 4 from Punjab and 1 from each of other gets responses, you may think that Punjab got more than any other, but %age vise, all are about the same..
