Anybody taken Transcripts from the PTU Jalandhar Recently..September 2016?

Just wondering if anyone has taken transcripts from the PTU Jalandhar (India) recently and sent it for ECA.

Can anyone please guide a foolproof way to do it as I have to travel a lot to get this done and can only do it once in 1-2 months.
So it could be either this weekend or it will be delayed for another month or so.

One query - It is mentioned that PTU will charge 300 for each transcript and then 200 each for sending it to WES.
Do we have to send the transcripts separtely?

I mean is this 8x(300+200) = Rs. 4000/-
or (8x300)+200 = Rs. 2600/-

for sending the transcript to the WES office. Kindly illuminate.

Hello Harry
There is only transcript for all ur semesters.. All ur dmc's will be printed on a single paper.. It will be sealed and stamped by PTU

Harry y r u multiplying 8 with 300??
 
Its 300 for each semester.
As I have 8 semesters in my 4 years degree, it would be 8x300 = 2400 just for the transcripts.
Please correct me if wrong.

I was asking, will it be 200 rs to send all transcripts to WES or will it be 200 for each transcript = 1600?
 
Harry bro PTU charges 300 for transcript (thr is 1 transcript for all semesters). so your total charge is 300*1 + 200*1 = 500

Hi Harry,

The process by PTU was to apply online via their student welfare link on the website.
Then upload the marksheets/certificate.
They indeed charged me Rs 4000/- for preparing the transcript and mailing to the Canadian assessment agency.

I didn't need to go in person and everything completed online.

I went to PTU office 2 weeks back. (Just took half an hour in PTU office)

Documents you need -
8 semesters DMCs xerox copy (they dont need even final degree certificate copy)
+ WES form with reference number having registrar stamp and signature of College.

They will ask you to fill a form and deposit the fees.

The fees was Rs 500/- only and they will mail all docs to WES canada.

You can also track your courier after 2 weeks then.

Let me know if you need any other info.

Its realy hard to believe that PTU hv made things easier.. I did this two years back..Everything was so messed up. The employees were misguiding students.. It was really headache to get transcripts from PTU..

This is really a very helpful thread.
But I think I am a bit confused here.

@er.satnamsinghbhullar & @kashjuni say there is only one transcript that PTU sends.
Whereas
@upinderkaur sasy, she got 8DMC's and WES form attested to be sent to PTU.

Can anyone who got successful ECA done help me out.

1) Onilne Transcript request - PTU will send 1 document - All ur dmc's will be printed on a single paper
2) I will send a xerox of my Degree to PTU.

That is it, no need to send detailed DMC to PTU.

Is there anything else needed?
We no not need to send 8 different detailed mark-sheets to WES. is this correct.

Please help guys.
