Anybody received medical request, who applied in november 2013.

I have sent my PR application on Dec 16th and it has been received by CIC in SYDNEY on 23rd December. What is the normal time line by when I can hear back from them with a file number or with any processing status.

Any information is much appreciated.

normally it takes i month and 10 days to get medical request and file number if u applied under PNP (inside canada)

Hi Sherry, congrats on starting the new journey! I am within Canada and it too me 33 days to get a response. I got medical request and file number at the same time. It could be sooner based on what others have posted on here or later so just hope for the best. Just type "check application status" and look for a cic link and follow the instructions, hopefully its on Ecas. Sorry I would send the link but I'm a newbie so I can't.By the way if you don't already know that link is called ECAS you might see that name posted a lot on here. Hope it helps. Good luck.

I have missed out sending the information that I am in Canada currently working under a closed work permit.

Good news is that I heard back from CIC yesterday, bad news is that they have returned my application saying that the proof of birth certificate i have provided does not contain my parents name and I have to start all over again. It freaked me out, but any ways I don't have a choice.

Can any body please help what and how should the affidavit look like to have an approved birth certificate from my country. Once again thanks a lot for your help!

Sorry to hear that Sherry, I don't know, every country is different. You have to get in touch with the births and registration office in your country and find out. I am guessing they are going to ask you to fill out some forms and get signatures from your parents if they are still alive possible school records, christening papers, etc. First step is getting in touch with them. Hi Everyone,

So guess what ! I sent email to CIC regarding my application status bcoz I didn't hear from my VO. They replied back that they sent my application to London VO which is weird bc my application was suppose to be sent to CHC - Islamabad. Anyhow I sent email to London VO, they replied back that my case is under processing or waiting to be reviewed by immigration officer. Fingers crossed, hope to receive RPRF request. Btw anyone know that will they ask about My bank Certificate and Statement ?

Hi Silverline, yes i didn't submit my PCC with my application...

i think we dont have to submit any thing until cic told u to do. my friend submitted his PCC like this and after one month CIC request him PCC. then he said he already submitted it but they replied we didnt get anything u have to submit new one within 30 days. so he had only one original copy.
