Anybody got PR without Date Of birth Certificate ?

Hi,
Any body got PR approval with an alternative without providing Date Of birth certificate which is issued by Municipal Council.

If yes, Please let me know the correct document which CIC will accept ?

You need birth certificate for dependent children to show that they are really your children (proof of relationship). Principal applicant and dependent spouse don't need birth certificate.

It's simply not needed. Have you received ITA? After you fill out the PR application, you will see a document checklist. Only dependent children should have birth certificate listed in there.

You just need your date of birth not birth certificate to create an EE profile.

Birth certificate will only be needed in very specific cases (for example when you are claiming points for siblings in Canada, then you will be showing your direct relation to them by their and your birth certificate).

You would need if you are keen to get nominated by a province such as Ontario but not if you manage to get ITA without nomination route.
