It sound like good news to me.. but why did they not send you a letter first? Ecas is usually slow to update. When did you apply? Is your husband with you in Canada? Best to you and I pray everything works out !!!

i am not sure why they updated first i have to pay his permanant fee first . we never was able to access ecas until last month his interview was in same day as they say started processing

When I applied, I paid all fees up front. They said it is faster this way. It sounds like you are well on the way if they are asking for the fee. Normally, people pay the fee at the same time as the sponsorship app. So, when you a decision is made, they just request your passport :)

they have not asked for the fee yet still waiting on the letter from them telling us if he got visa or no

My husband got refuse today for his visa VO said marriage was not genuine Merry christmas to me its heart breaking we are so inlove

OMG!!! I am so sad for you.. You know it's all about where he is from. This really pisses me off and I am so sorry to hear this :( What were the reason? You are married. You can not win .. I pray you can appeal this decision. hugs...

Hello I'm from Nova Scotia, going to apply to Sponsor my husband from Algeria.
Would you mind sharing the details about what you included to show your marriage was genuine,
and what you think they considered the weakness to be which allowed them to rule against you?
So sorry your process is having difficulty :(

Hi Judyo
WE sent everthing letters money transfer receipts receipts of things i sent him he sent me our problem was i never sent chat logs we used msn and i never had history on or did he phone bills i sent 400 pictures the VO was not happy that i never went back after marriage but i had surgery i got hurt at work and was going to physio 5 days a week she told him why didn't she come to tunis for physio how bogus is that . 1 month before our interview he knew a guy who lied throw all of it because he told my husband he did my husband told truth and look at us now i am waiting for my refusal letter than i am appealing hope all goes well for you i am near halifax how about u

I am very sorry. Do you mind discussing your relationship timelines. When and how you met and visited and married etc. Our application is on hold at the local cic following a transfer. The wait is humiliating. I just want an answer so we can start living a normal life here in Canada or there in his Country I honestly don't care. But for him the sitting around is literally depleting his self-esteem.
