Well I m also from India (Haryana). Actually college is not bad but u would gonna find more English people nd less population other than the major cities like Toronto. I m just confused because somehow I could not get a appropriate IELTS score. That's why I hve applied to this's college.. Lets see what happens next. Thing is this college is in Canada not in Haryana or Punjab hahah All the best
Hmmm same problem here my IELTS score is not so good(bottom line) so reappearing again.Still with this score i have 5 options
1 fanshawe college
2 Lambton college
3 fleming college
4 fairleigh dickinson university
5 concordia university Edmonton
So that i am confused
Fleming is the worst college you can enroll into. It is not worth paying international fee. It is know for offering all the courses after which you cant find a job. If your goal is to work your entire life in a gas station or grocery store then it is the best place. Apart from this, the city in which this college is has the most unemployment rate in Canada. You can see alot of druggies roaming around the city even in day light. Their bus service is of no good too. I am more than happy to answer any of your questions.
I will suggest you to go to a college in a bigger town like Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal etc. Bigger city always have more opportunities. You can easily find a part time job while you are studying and will have life outside your school. Everything in Peterborough closes at 5 pm and there is no recreation/attraction in the town. Try to go for bigger cities if you are planning to stay in Canada after studies.
Peterborough is one of the safest city in Canada.. I don't know about college but many students are applying to this college nowadays, population is low, community is friendly, part time jobs are less because of colder place like Calgary. This is all about Peterborough.
What about Lindsay then? My campus is in Lindsay I.e. Frost campus.
My frnd study there in fleming . he didnt get any part time work for 3 months . he said part time work is hard to find there. He is suggesting me brampton area as there are more oppurtunities
