Hi sukhija23,
Sorry for the delay as i'm out of station. First of all, CONGRATULATIONS as you are in the last stage of your processing. Gud luck!!!
1. I sent my passports through priority courier ie., through DTDC plus.
2. It depends, once your e-case status changes to DM, immediately you will get your pp back. Overall it took 2-weeks for me to get my pp back.
3. Since i'm out of station, i didn't receive my pp's. My wife has received the pp's yesterday. Will let you know once i'm in bangalore.
Hope i answered your questions.
Thanks again for your wishes!!! All the best for your visa!!!
Take care,
arcticmaple...

Thanks for the reply arctic! Do let me know what the answer to 3 is, as i will need to plan for a vacation with my buddies before i leave :) that is, if i get the visa.

And yeah, let's catch up once you are back. Drop me a pm. I am also in IT, though i am planning to land in Toronto.

Thank you very much for your wishes and your offer to help me. I'm from Bangalore and i live in Indiranagar. Are you an IT guy? Which company were you working here earlier? I was planning if i can get an IT job here in bangalore which have projects or office in canada, it would be helpful for me i guess. Rite now i just need some info about IT job market in Montreal. Which is the best place to fetch an IT job in Canada? Please keep in touch friend.
Thanks!!!
Regards,
arcticmaple...
Yes, i am from IT. my company closed their branch in Bangalore and i was offered to move. the company called LiveWire Mobile ( earlier NMS Communications ). and you are saying that you are looking for job. in which category you applied for PR? i remember they will ask for all the experience and employer details while processing the application?

and for job's in Canada, you can check all the job web sites from Canada. and start applying from there itself...I am sure you will get calls.....
if you join Wipro or Accenture or even Infosys they have Clients in Canada. apply to those companies and tell them you have valid visa to work...

good luck
Syed

Congratulations Arctic. Have a beautiful [move]& successful life ahead in Canada.... :) :)[/move]

Congrats Arcticmaple!

when are you flying?

We have also got our Medicals/RPRF/PCC/PP request and we just finished our Medicals yesterday and applied for PCC. Bangalore PO said it will take a 10-15 days to get PCC so just waiting for that and then we will courier our things.

Note: guys, BTW I am also from bannerghatta road 8)

Dear All,

I am new to this thread, got requst for medical, passport and resident fees today.. I live in Hebbal.. Can anyone share their experience on medical test in Bangalore?

I fixed an appointment on 30th...

To all,
one advice once you land in Canada. You need to have bank account and I advice not to open with Scotia Bank. they charges for every thing. they provide zero service. and wire transfer fees are very high. No banks pays interest to your money instead they charge for certain things. in that Scotia is worst. Before coming I advice open a NRI account with SBI or ICICI or HSBC. which will be useful.
