hi

which is ur VO?

I have been asked for the income tax papers and banks statements showing my salary, but the same thing it was paid by cash. So i have submitted Income tax papers, form 16 and declaration from the company stating that the salary was paid by cash.

I don't know my chances............

time will tell me

Hi Magar,

I am from India too in the same situation although I have not applied for Immigration (waiting for 2013).

Just curious to know how can the company provide Form 16 and declaration if salary is paid by cash? As far as I know they cannot legally provide the same for cash benefits. Are Bank statements valid in case of cash salary? Since the same can be spent for day to day expenses instead of depositing in the Bank, which is usually the case.

Await opinions and guidance for the same.

Dear if u have any experience already overcome please share here and help us......

Hi table,

Sorry I cant help you, as Ive said in my older post. I just provide paystubs to support my previous employment in a co. that already closed.

I was able to provide a certificate of employment though and a few payslips, not the entire employment payslips. However, I also provide an explanation on this matter and I think it suffice, they didnt further asked me about it.

I think your case is different, maybe they find a conflict in your employment experience like the other guy said so you are required to send supporting documents.

Provide a valid explanation, that's all I can advise.

Thanks Aubreyville,I got written explanation from employer paid by cash.He will give me duplicate copy of payslips.ok thanks pray for me.

Yeah good luck table. ;)

And prayers too. Need lots too.

Its a norm to submit payslips n bank statements showing prof that u were paid so if u did not submit it durning your initial application then u will be later asked for it which d are doing now.

The thing is this to avoid uncessary delay submit all documents dt will facilitate ur d processing of ur application.

Even if you were paid in cash, did you never deposit some of it into your account? They have asked for bank statements, so provide them even if you were paid in cash and write an explanation.

Hi Senoritabella,

In case of cash salary is it mandatory to deposit the same in the Account? Since the same can be spend for day to day expenses and other needs. So if there is no cash deposit in the Account, what effect can this situation have and how can this short coming be taken care of?

Await your guidance and inputs on the same.

Thanks

It's not mandatory to deposit the cash in the account but I just find it strange that someone would spend all the money each month and not save some in the bank account. I don't know if it has any effect, but it's something the visa officer requested, so it's up to the applicant to provide it or not and explain why.

Thanks for the feedback, however I would appreciate if some have gone through this hiccups of being paid salary in cash to respond, especially in case of Personal interview and the kind of questions asked by the V.O.

Senorita - Are you from India? I need someone to throw light on the documents which can be produced for Cash salary ( IT returns, form 16, etc if feasible). The CIC checklist does not mention IT returns and Banks statements, so I presume that in case of cash salary these supporting documents are needed for further verification? Correct me if wrong.

Seniors/Experienced friends : Await your feedback on this.
