Yes these Universities reply a little late. Don't worry. If they are replying late, means they are reviewing your file. If they wanted to reject you , they would do it within a few weeks. Wait for your replies. They must be in the way. Good Luck!

I applied to UofA and has been admitted. Working on my visa now

For UofA, I think the department's website has information regarding reviews and decisions. They only reply when they need additional requirements or if a decision has been made. As for me, I waited for a month or two and until now they're still doing reviews. You can try to find forums regarding university applications participated by applicants. You can monitor university responses there too.
