i am planning to apply where in southafrica did you apply from ...pls share profile and what DHA permit?

I applied thru VFS pretoria.. and i am on a study permit but will expire end of the year.... I have a degree in edu mgt, certificate in project mange ment and Hon degree in assessment an quality assurance.. I applied for a year advance certificate in office education at SIAT.. applied 9th of October still wiating

Hi, You appled for a one year course in canada and your RSA study permit expire end of this year 2013? correct me.

I will advice you to submit renewal of your study permit in SA Like immediately Now to the DHA . either renewal of study permit or any RSA permit . ITS really Help as most Embassy canada, europe wants applicant residence permit in SA to be valid atleast 3 or 4 months longer than the Visa you apply for. Like you apply for 1 study permit .you need RSA permit valid till maybe 2015 begining or end 2014.

its good you renewing it. Yes am on RSA permit , business permit 2015. currently doing Business computing with INTEC , and i apply to U of Manitoba waiting for LOA .wants to gather all document before submit at vfs pretoria .. am writting the SOP/study plan page. could you pls give me tips about Ties what to write or document to enclose to convince the VO... what do you write on Yours and documentation supporting it. i heard SOP is very compulsory

Which country are you actually from? I got tips on how to go about my application on this site i read ppls post and note things down.. Yes you SOP is impotant.. You need to explain why canada, why the course and your future plans and how you will benefit from the course you are going for and how you will give back to your country etc.. and you need to state that you will come back maybe their is a promising job etc.. where in south africa re you located? well in my case my cousins wife who is a south african gave me all documents and she was my sponsor and the are planning of starting their business so i included it in my sop saying that i will be heading the one in my home country which is the truth. I paid part of my fees and accommodation and i included it in my application as well as their properties acct etc. give me your email i will share the copy of SOP with u so that u can have more insight and i am not a pro in this all info i know i got it from reading other people post who got their visa okay....SO pls dnt get me wrong u still av to ask and read more post it really helps

am from Nigeria reside here in SA, got the police clearance certificate now seems all document geting complete ..... havnt finalise the SOP thou. yes am also reading ppls post on this site now and then to gathered info abt the SOP.. the Ties is something else. i guess you got good chance of been sponsor and properties doc like that........ am also loooking into what to show to convince VO..... my email kabbmogg@yahoo.com

Am also a Nigerian residing here.. I advice you to try and submit asap cos the process takes 13 weeks which is about 3 months Since you are on business permit u can use you company... put ur CK1 and ur bank startments of the cash flow and saving etc.. am sure you should know the drill do you stay in pretoria? check you email i send you a copy of the SOP i used... hope it helps

Thanks Bro , I got your email. Yes am in Pretoria aswell. will finalise SOP today, putting the CK and other document to convince VO ... Hoping for the Best . Yes its takes 13 weeks or less as i heared . some got theirs in 3 weeks some 4 weeks. i will keep posting here.. you should too , maybe any info regarding application. putting it in , in few days

SO u mean it wont take up to 13 weeks? Which nationalities are those people?

Yes not all applications take 13 weeks . you can read from ppl post here too even the Zim gal that got hers from Pretoria it doesnt take 13 weeks. but sometimes it takes that time.
