I have applied in august 2010. I have provided my information last month which they requested for. i have been assigned visa officer now.
Today i have got request for medicals.
Plz if anybody is having any approximate idea when can i expect PPR.

How long does it take after submitting medical/police clearance to Sydney visa office in Australia. I submitted last month both medical and police clearance....just wondering regarding the average time it takes to received PPR at Sydney visa office.....Thanks Fariza.....

I have applied for my PR in may 2012 from Canada. I just received my AOR the other day. My file has been sent to Ottawa, Canada. I'm trying to decide as I have had people tell me that if I get my file transferred to Sydney, Australia I will get in quicker time frame. Anyone had experience or advice on this.

Hi everybody.....I have my file with Consulate General of Canada in Sydney under family sponsorship....its been 4 months....i didnt heard anything from them....even wrote twice about it, still no replies and they take inquires about VISA only through email for which they suppose to reply back in five day......Is sydney consulate effected by PAFSO strike??? Will it be okay if I go to Canada on visitor visa and later send my Passport via courier to sydney when asked??

I have applied in 19th June, 2013 and visa office is Sydney, Australia. I received PER but after that there is no any communication from visa office. Is there any one who got MR from sydney under new FSW2013? Appreciate your response.
