Any virtual oath invite from Hamilton Office?

It will be interesting to see the progress of your Oath ceremony, i.e. if you will get an invitation soon after the transfer. Goodluck!
 
So, I decided to call the Helpline. I specifically asked if the Hamilton office is/will be conducting virtual ceremonies. The lady answered that "technically" all offices should be hosting virtual oaths. I asked her to double-check, and after waiting a few moments, she answered that "yes", Hamilton is/will host online oaths. Then it's pretty much the same... They don't have an estimate on when because of the backlog, COVID, and such. Anyway, just sharing my convo with the office today.

Thanks for sharing! Well we knew pre-COVID that Hamilton had a backlog for applicants awaiting ceremonies. The current situation only compounds it now that they can only accomplish just a few ceremonies a week. I hope they've started group sessions instead of individual sessions so that more people can be processed on a given day. Keeping fingers crossed that I can hear some good news soon.

I also submitted my application in April 2019 and took test in November 2019 in Hamilton and decision made since then but no news until now. Hopefully we all can get oath invitations soon. I have friends from Scarborough who took their test in Dec 2019 and already got virtual oath invitation for this week. I'm jealous!! :(

my processing office is Hamilton and i got the oath invite last week from Niagara. Things have started moving it seems. i applied in April 2019 and did my test in March 2020.
