ANY UPDATES FROM BUFFALO...??for AOR

Did anyone got 2nd AOR from Buffalo who submitted thr full documents in MARCH END OR APRIL START... OFFICE>....recently , I CALLED CONSULATE IN BUFFALO..they told me to wait for abt 5 months to receive an AOR...what does that mean....and then she said probably they have not even opened the file..!!

I AM WORRIED NOW , SHALL I CONSIDER APPLYIN in NEW DELHI OFFICE>.??

My documents reached buffalo on 29 March 2010. Still waiting for AOR. I believe it takes approx 2 months. 5 months is a generic answer.

FYI
I mailed my full application package to Buffalo on March 29th,2010, the Buffalo Office got it on March 31st, 2010.
I just got the AOR, dated April 27th,from Buffalo last week.
