Friend of mine in Middle East and India /pakistan wanted to visits Canada.

How we can they get aa invitation letter or sponsorship from a company or institution to apply for their visitor visa for attending the any event or training etc first time?

May be there is any upcoming events or training list from where we can enroll and get an official invitation letter for apply a visit visa ?

pla advice possible solutions and alertnative options if any.

A company or institution cannot sponsor a TRV. Friend should apply for a TRV based on own merits.

Recently they were accepting applications for Toronto event with the name of ’Young professional fellowship ‘ and they were issuing invites around for 200 people

Just because you get an invitation to a conference then you still need to show cash, travel history and ties to return. Use google.

If anyone is invited by a conference, they can use that in their application. If not, what's the point of going out of the way to "find" invitations?

You actually have to show why it makes sense to attend a conference, that you have attended similar conferences in the past, why you would benefit from attending the conference, typically that an organization is sponsoring your travel like your employer, etc. Many are under the false assumption that this is an easy way to get a TRV when it is not. IRCC is not stupid.

Pointing out that googling events coming up and using this as a reason you are applying for a TRV is a waste of time.

Unless they have attended similar events in other parts of the world and hopefully in places like Europe, US, Australia, etc. or are presenting at a large conference where their costs are being covered then they should focus on other plans.
