Hi
Has anyone from the UK had their A levels or Advanced GNVQs assesed and have an ECA for them? If so what was the canadian equivalent?
I have read that A levels could be equivalent to one year post secondary education in canada.
I am trying to get extra points for having two post secondary qualifications. I have had my bachelors degree assesed and it is a canadian equivakent of a 4 year degree so that is good.
If i have another post secondary certificate or qualification i get a heap more points.
Frustrated as i also completed half a masters degree and have a lot of credits but the university wont award me a lesser award, ie a graduate certificate and without a certificate and i cant get an ECA without one even though i have lots of credits and the transcript at the post grad level. So last ditch attempt is getting my A levels done instead.
Any info much appreciated.
Thank you
