Any suggestions about finding a job?

Hi guys,

I have been making numerous applications for jobs in Canada to try to improve my scores and chances. So far employers turn me down once they find out I don't currently hold a work permit. Is there any hope of being offered a job before you have the work permit? I am going about this the wrong way, what are my options?

Thanks

Is same chicken or the egg situation. I am in the same boat, if you have 67 than you can stick with it and still keep on looking, job will only make your case solid but you will still qualify without the job offer.

Also I know the CIC website states that if you don't have a job you need to have at least $10,000+ to support yourself in Canada. On the application is asked how much do I have, if I don't have that amount at this time, but will be able to secure that within a month or two, is it ok to put the full amount, or should I put less than the amount which is what I have in the bank?

Thanks for your help.

For example, you can put $50,000 right now, they are not asking the proof at this time, that will be in the end. And even you put $50,000 and you have only $10,000 at the time they ask you, you will still qualify because you will fullfil the requirment. The Bank statement will come at the end pf the process not right now.
