Yea I've lived here most of my life, its always been a nice place. We went outland route, and just plan to extend the visitation whenever necessary ;D

I have a question about going the outland route but continuing the process while in Canada. Is this possible? When they request your passport can it be returned to an address in Canada?

Yes it is possible! I applied outland and I just received a visitor extension (I have been in Canada for almost four years now). Outland is usually faster.

Hi.. after the six months, even though you have a valid visa (in my case until 2016), you have to reapply as a visitor or should you just go to the States and come back to get another six months? what's best?

Just re-apply via mail at least 30 days prior to keep in good standing.

I have the same question too. Should I just go ahead & apply extension online ( and pay the fee, $100? $150?), or just go to the US then return in order to get another 6 months ? Point is I am not sure if another 6 months will be given iguaranteed.
Somehow I think the extension fees is a rip off.......it's like buying time

Doing the border entry method is known to have problems. They may very well deny you entry for whatever reason... the extension method is safer if its important for you to stay.
