Hi guys,

My application reached to CIC on Sept 2, 2014 and received AOR on January 13, 2015. I did my medicals upfront in July, 2015 and got the acknowledgement of that. But I haven't really heard anything after that besides the spam RPRF request in January.

My ECAS has three lines: "we received your application on Sept 2, 2014", "we started processing on Jan 13, 2015" and "medical has been received".

Is anyone here in similar situation?

I'm expecting to get my GCMS notes in the next two to three weeks (not sure when exactly since they seem to be taking longer to process the request), but now that a lot of September 2014 applicants have received PPR or COPR, my application seems to be dragging on for a bit too long...

My PGWP expires in end of July and I plan to apply for BOWP in the next few weeks just in case. But is there anything else I can do other than that and wait?

Thanks!

I am September 12th applicant with 2 lines in ecas. Have done medical and paid RPRF upfront.
Have heard nothing from CIC

Have you ordered GCMS notes recently to see what's going on?

Roberto, as usually I guess it's nothing you can do, except wait.

Only thing can help a bit, reducing a few weeks the process, is to pay up font RPRF, that won't accelerate your process but when the application will be almost done you can save some time.

Yeah, I guess there isn't much I can do eh?
Hopefully the GCMS will shed some light on what's happening. Might take up your suggestion and pay RPRF upfront if my GCMS looks promising.

Have you tried Case specific enquiry, CIC has to answer any case specific enquiry although for email communication they are not bound to answer.

Haven't tried case specific inquiry. I got my GCMS notes a few hours ago, and surprisingly nothing seems to be wrong. Eligibility: passed, Criminality: passed, Medical: passed and Security: blank which, what I heard, is normal.
But the only thing is there is no way to find out anything about the Security field, and looks like that's the only place that COULD have issues. But again, there is no way to find out.

I am a Sep 29th applicant, got a request for T4 and NOA for 2014 on Mar 7, emailed them and got acknowledged on Mar 17th. Nothing ever since.

My guess here is they threw any case requiring more documents back into the big cycle now.

Could be a possibility. The thing is, I haven't had any additional docs requested at all, and the GCMS notes I just got say there is no concerns found on file...

Same case, Im Oct 14 applicant, got a request for T4 and NOA for 2014 on Mar 17, emailed them and got confirmed. Nothing ever since- no medical no ecas updated

I am a 2nd Sep applicant and I got my PPR last week. In my case, the process got delayed for a month when compared with the same timeline applicants, when CIC required some additional documents (PCCs, Schedule A, Travel info).
Most of the delay in that 1 month was from my side as I had to obtain PCCs from other countries.

My suggestion for you guys is, don't worry much and just wait. As per one of my friends, this process is very complicated and the timelines are heavily dependent on so many internal factors. Just wait with some patience, you all will be good.

Consider to do upfront medical check and RPRF payments, so when your application moves next step you can save some additional time.

It really is different from case to case. I had an additional document request at the end of Feb and now I have already completed my landing.

Yeah, I agree. As for me, I finally received an email from CIC yesterday, asking me to pay RPRF. I feel like my application was just left and forgotten until I requested GCMS lol

Same here, Additional docs requested Mar14 ----> submitted Apr06.
Then noting for now :(

I guess they have 1 months time to process each step (ie MR, RPRF, PPR) from the time we submit the additional docs. etc.

I am hoping to get some news by 15th May.
